CAWODISA is an independent, nongovernment; nonpolitical, nonprofit CSO that was formed in 1997 as a women’s collective response to the unique challenges faced by families of soldiers with disabilities.
Through promoting skill development, self–help and peer support, we help families adjust to the need for women to take on major care of their families in the reality of the
household head being limited by his disability.
We train, demonstrate and link members to social-economic support systems.

Every donation, every volunteer hour, every share — it adds up to real change.
